Review of Tuda grass direct - also know as cheap grass . co . uk
I would NOT recommend anybody to buy from this company. Here is my experience. One star is too many.
Before ordering we looked at the many reviews on the cheap grass .co.uk site. All were excellent. On some other review sites they did lose points on communication and delivery dates. We decided to place our order online for Berlin artificial grass on a Sunday afternoon (when they were closed) and received an automated “thank you for your order” immediately.
Delivery on the website at this time was 1-5 days. This being 5 weeks into the Covid lockdown I would have understood had that needed to be longer, but it was advertised as being quicker than other companies were and an important factor.
Having not heard anything at all from the company by Wednesday a.m I phoned to enquire. The lady on the phone apologised for the delay and said my order would be leaving them today and I would be contacted by the delivery company DX. Delivery would be Thursday or Friday, but probably Friday. Happy with that I immediately went out and prepared the garden ready, just in case it did come on Thursday. Later on Wednesday afternoon I received an email to say “ Your recent order on Tuda Grass Direct | Cheap Artificial Grass has been completed” I thought the wording of this was a bit wrong as the grass hadn’t actually arrived yet. Had I not phoned a few hours earlier then I would have been concerned by this wording. So I waited all Thursday and all Friday morning. I was concerned that I still hadn’t received a delivery email so I phoned up again to ask if it was coming today, only to be told it was booked in for delivery on Monday. DX would text in advance but if I ring back on Monday “we will be able to confirm it with you again”.
So on Monday at 8.10 a.m I phoned again to be told that the system wasn’t showing anything so the lady on the phone said she would check for me and ring me back in a few minutes. One and a half hours later she still hadn’t rung back so I phoned again to be told her system wouldn’t let her in and she would have to get back to me in a “couple of minutes”.
Two hours later and still no call so I rang again. This time I was told by a different lady that the grass was definitely with the delivery company, having been collected on the Wednesday before and I was given a tracking number for DX.
So I went onto the DX tracking system which told me my parcel would be delivered last Thursday!
Furious with DX I sent an angry email to them demanding to know when my grass would come. Their reply came within 20 minutes to tell me that they did not have the grass. It had an assignment number but the grass had not yet been given to DX to deliver.
So, back onto the phone to ask for a refund. Spoke to the same lady as usual who asked me to hold whilst she checked with the warehouse. When she came back on she said it’s definitely not there and has been despatched, even though I am telling them DX don’t have it. The warehouse boss said it may just have been missed on the scanning out and should definitely be out tomorrow. He feels confident it will show as out for delivery tonight and will arrive tomorrow. Reluctantly I agreed to give them one more chance. The lady on the phone said she would ring me back at 8a.m to confirm and left herself a reminder.
So I then checked the tracking number I had been given many, many times and no it did not update. And no phone call at 8 a.m as promised on Tuesday morning. At 9am I phoned DX to check with them personally and no it had not been given to them for delivery.
And so, once again, I phoned up tuda grass, also known as cheapgrass .co .uk, and this time I did receive a refund without an argument or apology from them.
I ordered a grass underlay and it came as a bunch of leftovers opposed to a single roll so had to spend extra time measuring and cutting as some pieces were shorter. The delivery was a mess too, the chap just dropped it off the high street and I had to carry it myself to the door.

I ordered composite decking on Friday after being let down on numerous occasions by a different company and it was delivered this morning (Wednesday) by the friendliest delivery driver, well done 5 star service ????
I cannot recommend this company enough! The prices are very competitive, the quality is fabulous and the customer service is outstanding; Louise is amazing!

ordered some underlay, exactly what i ordered, spoke with the girls in the office which were pretty useless but a gentleman called christopher tuda called me and was more then helpful
Thrilled with my grass, it arrived so quickly, & the customer service team were really helpful with advice, especially a lady called Rachel who was so helpful as I mucked up my order online, but she sorted my order very quickly & Efficiently! Would recommend this company, 5 star's

Amazing service from ordering, customer service, through to delivery! The company were able to advise and assist me regarding my order and a fast delivery date was organised. The delivery guy was chirpy and helpful when he arrived - & on time. Thank you for your competent service. Astro turf was of v good quality. Can’t wait for my Nursery children to enjoy playing on it soon.

Great Experience buying my artificial grass through Tuda Grass. The quality of the Vienna grass was second to none & customer service/ Delivery was faultless... thanks again guys, highly recommend.
As an absolute replica of the review by 'S' on 24th July, here's my experience with Tuda Grass (and Cheapgrass.co.uk.)
I ordered Majestic grass from Tuda Grass in 2018 which was duly delivered and installed. In 2020 I needed more of the same so found my original order emails and repeated the process. Somewhere along the line my order was completed by Cheapgrass.co.uk and not Tuda Grass (apparently the same company though).
I didn't get what I ordered. I got something superior.
I told Tuda Grass/Cheapgrass this through a series of emails and phone calls to be fobbed off with "different batch" blah blah repeatedly without acceptance of their error.
Eventually I got sent some more Majestic grass.
Only I didn't. I got something different again to both the 2018 and 2020 Majestic. This however was far inferior. After more emails and phone calls with Paul at Tuda Grass where he refused to allow me to contact anyone superior to him, they arranged to collect the 2 new rolls of whatever they'd thrown at me less than a month after my first order in 2020 after telling me they couldn't supply what I actually wanted despite it clearly being shown on sale on the website(s)
Imagine my surprise then when on collection day, the driver said he was DROPPING OFF some grass - I had absolutely no warning of this from the company further highlighting their appalling customer service (yeah, busy... clearly putting out fires caused by the shoddy customer service to other people) an lo and behold it was actually what I wanted and what apparently couldn't be provided!
Not a single word/call/email from Paul since I threatened the business with Trading Standards which included the delivery of this magically arrived grass so I've no idea which sofa they pulled this from down the back of.
Frankly I don't care either as I'm just pleased to be able to offer other potential customers my considered thoughts in balance to the weirdly only 5* reviews on their website.
As 'S' has said, get the samples and check carefully before you install any grass from these businesses as you'll get little or no support or apology from them once they've had your money.

Grass is fantastic and my dogs are loving it.
I ordered my grass on the 13th June and it said 5-7 business days for delivery, which meant 23rd at the latest. I planned the other garden work and workers around that. 23rd came and went. Emailed for an update, miraculously within half hour of my email, I got a proforma email saying they were dispatching that day! (Not a co-incidence Im feeling). Delivery Instructions - I put I will need it taking down the alley through my back gate, no way it could go through the door and with a back and lung problem and no-one else living here, I couldnt order without that confirmation and they should cancel if it couldnt be done. They took the order and the money didnt query the delivery. When the delivery came, 26th in the end.....the driver said they cant deliver to the rear garden, its not in their policy, Tuda should NOT be accepting instructions like that as they are a third party carrier and dont have to comply with delivery instructions other than front door or kerbside. Not that happy to be honest. The grass is OK for purpose, only wanted a sectioned off grass area for some benches and play area. I had to try and carry 55kg 4m role which left me very out of breath and in pain. I didnt get any update as to what day the order would arrive and didnt get a delivery slot, it was a lot of waiting around, took time off of work, lot of guesswork as there was no communication.
